REGIONAL BAHÁ’Í COUNCIL OF THE SOUTH CENTRAL STATES Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas January 31, 2025

Dear Friends,

The Regional Bahá’í Council of the South Central States greets you with much affection.

The historic letter from the National Spiritual Assembly on the topic of the “Nine Year Plan and the Destiny of America” reminded us of our responsibilities towards our nation through implementation of the provisions of the Nine Year Plan. The letter also called for the Regional Bahá’í Councils to organize a series of conferences similar to those held during the launching of the Nine Year Plan.

It is with eager anticipation that we are writing to the South Central region to announce the initial preparation for the launch of these conferences in our region. These conferences will take place in approximately seven locations in our region in the coming months. We will follow up with the specific dates and locations in the near future.

The invitees to these conferences will include all believers and their friends, neighbors, and co- workers in every community of the South Central region. These conferences, far from being a one- time event, will be a continuation of the process of learning and capacity building we have engaged in, to widen the circle of those who are willing to join us and contribute to the betterment of their neighborhood and community.

The Regional Council is calling upon each of you, dear friends, to begin thinking about effective ways to invite your friends, contacts and collaborators to these conferences – not only those who are already connected to the community-building process, but even those who may be as of yet unfamiliar with the sacred work of the society-building process, which the community of the Greatest Name is undertaking.

The Regional Council will share more specifics about these conferences in the weeks to come. In the meantime, we encourage each Bahá’í in our region to employ every effort possible to generate enthusiasm for attending them.

Please be assured of our prayers that the Blessed Beauty will guide, strengthen and confirm your every effort for the success of these conferences.

With loving Baha’i greetings,

THE REGIONAL BAHÁ’Í COUNCIL of the SOUTH CENTRAL STATES
